...and she had a dream –
a dream of playing lovely
music in an ensemble
of lovely ladies...

Already at the tender age of 5 she began to
devote herself to the piano, with the ultimate
aim of performing with the Vienna Philharmonic
– which never happened. Subsequently she
turned to singing (Carmen, of course!) and the
violin (Tchaikovsky concerto, for instance...),
once more aiming for the highest honours –
which again did not happen. But finally, at the
age of 18, Melitta met the love of her life, the
classical guitar, and she had a dream – a
dream of playing lovely music in an ensemble
of lovely ladies – and this came true...
